What exactly does a Curls Monthly membership include?
5 Customizable Curly Hair Products Delivered to Your Door Every Month
The best curly hair products sent to you every month. You can choose from hundreds of products, and we add new ones all the time so you’ll always have something new to try. If you forget to choose or want us to choose for you, you'll automatically receive our "New Arrivals Mailer" every month! Our products are primarily "trial sized".
Easy-to-Understand Guides and Videos
Owning products is one thing, but knowing how to use them is the real secret! Each product you get comes with instructions written by our curl coaches and a video guide- so you know exactly how to use it.
Exclusive Access to Curls Monthly HQ
This is your place to find everything about curly hair! You’ll get full routines, tips on frizz, travel guides, and more! All the info you need to make your curls amazing. Think of it as a digital library for curls!
Your Own Personal Curl Coach
Need help? No problem! Every Curls Monthly member gets a personal curl coach. You can chat with them live, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM EST. Ask questions, send pictures, and get advice just for your hair!
Can I customize my monthly products?
Yes. All Curls Monthly members will have the option to choose their 5 products included in the upcoming month’s mailer. If you choose not to personalize (or if you forget) - you will receive our “New Arrivals Mailer”, which is filled with our new arrivals each month!
What size products do you send?
We are primarily a trial-sized product subscription. This eliminates waste so you aren't left with a bunch of full-size products you don't like. However, we have many full-size options as well inside of our Curls Monthly Product Vault.
The photos of the products you see when you choose the products are they exact size you will be receiving. The ounces are also listed on the product description!
When will I get my first mailer?
All new subscription orders will be fulfilled within 3-5 business days.
Recurring subscription orders will be billed on the 1st of the month and fulfilled between the 2nd and 3rd week of each month thereafter.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you choose to cancel your Curls Monthly subscription, you may do so at any time by the second to last day of the month to end services immediately.
If you do not unsubscribe by the second to last day of the month, you will be charged and receive the next mailer and will not receive any mailers or be debited after that.
If you're a yearly / quarterly subscriber- Once you purchase a pre-paid subscription plan (quarterly, or yearly) you can cancel at anytime but we cannot offer you a refund for the mailers you already purchased. You will receive those mailers as planned and will not be charged or sent mailers after the subscription type you paid for has expired.
To cancel, login to your customer portal and click "Select Products + Manage Subscription" button. Once that page loads, the option to cancel is at the bottom of the page.
Where do you ship to?
We ship within the USA only.
Are all products "CGM Approved" and color-safe?
All products are color-safe. Most are Curly Girl Method approved! You will easily be able to tell whether or not a product is CGM approved while selecting your products because every product has a symbol next to it that will tell you whether or not it's CGM safe.
If you strictly follow the Curly Girl Method, you can just swap any prodcts that aren't quite CGM approved out of your mailer that month.
How often / when will I be charged for my subscription?
MONTHLY SUBSCRIBERS will be charged for your first month upon signing up, then on the first day of next month + every month ongoing for monthly subscriptions.
YEARLY SUBSCRIBERS will be charged the full price for the year upon signing up, then charged again on an annual basis.
QUARTERLY SUBSCRIBERS will be charged for your first quarter upon signing up, then charged again every 3 months.
